The Richmond Porsche Meet has grown into a must-attend event for many local Porschephiles, often providing a strong turnout of cars and people alike. This year was no different and despite a moderately threatening forecast for later in the afternoon, plenty of cars were turning up by mid-morning. As eclectic a group of cars as owners, RPM had something for everyone from early 356 models to the newest of Porsches, including a magnificent Viola Metallic 918 Spyder Hybrid brought by Bob Ingram. A 1997 911 Porsche Turbo S (type 993) was also on hand from the Ingram Collection and also finished in beautiful Viola Metallic.
The turn out was much greater than anticipated based on pre-registrations and catered lunch accessories ran low from time to time, but the delicious BBQ and buffet-style options more than made up for any missing forks.
From our vantage point everyone at RPM seemed to have a great time, including the entire Lüfteknic crew, and we even made it home before the skies opened later that day. Many thanks to the friends and customers who stopped by to say hello or make a purchase.
